My name is Brian Schieber and I am a Spanish teacher and Assistant wrestling coach at Buford High School. I grew up as a product of Gwinnett County. I attended Collins Hill High School where I graduated in 2003 and went on to college at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!!!) There I got my undergraduate degree in Spanish in 2007 and my masters degree in Teaching Foreign Language in 2012. Since, 2008 I have been teaching high school Spanish in Gwinnett County and recently made the move to Buford High in 2014. I was elated at the opportunity to come aboard such a wonderful and well run school and I am so excited to bring my teaching style to the wonderful community of Buford, Georgia.
In high school I fell in love with the Spanish language and the culture. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher but I never knew exactly what I wanted to teach until I stepped foot in my Spanish 1 class when I was freshman and became instantly hooked. Since then, I have taken on many opportunities to learn the language and experience the culture through work, friendships and travel.
In my spare time I love to be outdoors with my dog and family. I also love traveling, playing sports and working out. Oh, and on many Saturdays in the fall you can find me in Athens, Georgia rooting on the dawgs.
I am so thankful for everyone that have gotten me to the place I am today and I am so proud to be a Buford Wolf.
